In February 2006, the KIST Competence and Innovation Centre for Stamping Technique was officially opened in the Technology Park in Dortmund. This training centre is unique in Europe. The state-of-the-art building combines high technology with modular process-oriented qualification for industry and trade. With the training program KIST has created an offer to improve the competitive position in metal processing companies engaged in stamping and forming technology and to support companies in solving issues relating to production or rather manufacturing technology.
We at schwer + kopka have been a member of KIST since 2017.
Currently, a Bruderer high-performance stamping machine, equiped with a SK 500 TP monitoring system, is being used in the testing and training center.
